February 19th, 2020—BrosMed Medical Co., Ltd. announced CE Mark and launched its Wedge NC Scoring Balloon Catheter and Alveo HP Balloon Catheter . Wedge NC and Alveo HP are for the treatment of Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) by improving myocardial blood flow in the localized stenotic lesion of the coronary arteries.
February 19th, 2020—BrosMed Medical Co., Ltd. announced CE Mark and launched its Wedge NC Scoring Balloon Catheter and Alveo HP Balloon Catheter . Wedge NC and Alveo HP are for the treatment of Percutaneous Transluminal Coronary Angioplasty (PTCA) by improving myocardial blood flow in the localized stenotic lesion of the coronary arteries.
The Wedge NC is designed as a Non-Compliant High Pressure Scoring PTCA Balloon to satisfy clinical needs which current cutting/scoring PTCA balloons do not meet. The aim of Wedge NC Scoring PTCA balloon is to be a workhorse PTCA balloon to treat diffused / hard / calcified lesions which would maximally eliminate dissections with minimal slippage and “dog boning” phenomena. Wedge NC comes in a wide range of configurations from 2.0 – 4.0 mm balloon diameter and up to 30 mm balloon length. Together with a Rated Burst Pressure (RBP) of 22 atm this Wedge NC will meet the physicians’ requirements.
Alveo HP Balloon Dilatation Catheter is the smallest High Pressure PTCA Balloon in the world which can cross through lesions with ease and open up the coronary vascular pathway.
Alveo HP combines several top technologies in one. Leading laser processing technology ensures smooth, tapered ultra-low (0.0154”) tip profile for the balloon; Advanced balloon manufacturing technology brings world’s smallest 0.75 mm PTCA Balloon with ultra-high pressure resistance (up to 20 atm RBP) which is ideal for opening lesions in high pressure.
