August 1, 2024 — BrosMed Medical is pleased to announce the appointment of Scott J. Addonizio as its Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective immediately.
Mr. Addonizio brings extensive experience and deep industry expertise to BrosMed, with a distinguished career spanning nearly 30 years in the medical device industry. Prior to joining BrosMed, he served as Senior Vice President at Cordis and Chief Operating Officer at MedAlliance Swiss Medical Technology. During his tenure at MedAlliance, he played an instrumental role in raising investment capital to support the company’s continued growth, scaling operations to enable double-digit growth, and overseeing global operations prior to the company’s acquisition by Cordis in October 2023.
Mr. Addonizio also served as a board director of OrbusNeich Medical and as Chief Operating Officer, where he was responsible for global operations, including sales and marketing. During his tenure, the company achieved global revenue of approximately USD 100 million before he transitioned back to the United States in 2019. He currently holds key positions at multiple companies, including serving on the Board of Directors of Simpson Interventions and as a General Partner at Cultivation Capital.
