BrosMed Announced CE MDR Approval of New Generation Conger™ Plus Hydrophilic Guidewires

Designed for superior crossability and maneuverability in peripheral interventions, Conger Plus now offers 116 models with expanded sizes (OD 0.018'' to 0.038'') and lengths (up to 300cm).
April 25, 2025- BrosMed announced that it receives European Medical Device Regulation (MDR) certification for the New Generation Conger™ Plus Hydrophilic Guidewires.
BrosMed New Generation Conger™ Plus Hydrophilic Guidewires is designed to facilitate the subsequent introductions of intravascular devices into peripheral vasculature during interventional procedures.
The New Generation Hydrophilic Guidewires has expanded its size matrix to 116 models to meet diverse clinical needs. Its outer diameter (OD) ranges from 0.018’’ to 0.038’’, effective length varies from 45cm to 300cm, with two kinds of distal tip shape available (Straight/Angled). Compared to the first-generation (Conger™ Hydrophilic Guidewires), Conger™ Plus has a broader size portfolio. It covered more sizes, especially for OD 0.018’’ longer effective lengths up to 300cm to better match peripheral use.
Conger™ Plus Hydrophilic Guidewires is constructed from nitinol core wire with a polymer coating to improve crossability and the hydrophilic coating is applied over the radiopaque polymer jacket to reduce the friction. Combined enhanced crossability, precise maneuverability and durable lubrication, Conger™ Plus inherits the excellent performance of the first-generation and adds more sizes to be your first choice for intervention procedure.
