September 9, 2025-BrosMed is thrilled to announce that Khons™ Guidewire (0.014”| 0.018”) has received CE MDR approval, marking another milestone in advancing peripheral intervention solutions.
The Khons Guidewire is used to facilitate the subsequent introductions of intravascular devices into peripheral vasculature during interventional procedures. Khons™ guidewire combines superior torque response, support, shaping durability to meet diverse demands in peripheral intervention.
Key Features of Khons™ Guidewire:
- Core-to-tip Design: One-piece stainless steel tapered core wire for excellent 1:1 torque response and outstanding support.
- Enhanced Visibility: Distal 3cm radiopaque spring coil for precise positioning under fluoroscopy.
- Smooth Delivery: Distal polymer jacket with hydrophilic coating and proximal PTFE coating ensures lubricity and safe navigation in tortuous anatomies.
- Versatile options: Wide portfolio with 2 tip shapes (straight, angled), 3 tip flexibilities (soft, standard, stiff), and multiple working lengths (80–450cm).
- Operator-Friendly: Each guidewire is equipped with a torque device to enhance controllability during procedures.
