Cordis and BrosMed launched a ceremony for the localization strategy at CIIE China

The 6th China International Import Expo (CIIE) officially opened in Shanghai on November 5, 2023. As one of the world's largest import-themed exhibitions, the CIIE brought together exhibitors and enterprises from around the globe to promote international trade, investment, and economic cooperation.

During the CIIE, Cordis and BrosMed Medical took this opportunity to launch a ceremony marking their localization strategy in China. Guided by the vision of “Chinese Wisdom, Global Co-creation,” the partnership aims to strengthen innovation in the Chinese market and empower grassroots healthcare through collaborative innovation.
This milestone represents Cordis’ first step toward local manufacturing in China. Earlier this year, Cordis partnered with BrosMed Medical Co., Ltd. to launch its first Marketing Authorization Holder (MAH) project in China. The two companies signed agreements covering the commissioned research, development, and manufacturing of the SABER™ 0.014” PTA Balloon Dilatation Catheter.
