Cordis and BrosMed launch ceremony for the localization strategy at CIIE China

The Sixth China International Import Expo (CIIE) kicked off in Shanghai on November 5, 2023, As one of the world’s largest import-themed exhibitions, the CIIE attract a diverse range of exhibitors and enterprises to participate from across the world for global trade and economic cooperation.

Through the CIIE, Cordis and BrosMed Medical seize this opportunity to launch ceremony for the localization strategy aim to deepen “Chinese Wisdom, Global Co-creation,” and promote the innovation ecosystem in the China market to empower grassroots healthcare.
This marks Cordis’ first step toward achieving local manufacturing in China. In April of this year, Cordis had already partnered with BrosMed Medical Co., Ltd. to jointly implement Cordis’ first Marketing Authorization Holder (MAH) project in China. They signed agreements for commissioned research and development and production of the SABER 0.014” PTA balloon dilatation catheter.
Mr. Cai Yulun, General Manager of Cordis China, said, ” Today is just the starting point. In the future, we look forward to continuing to work with BrosMed Medical to combine the global wisdom with local innovation to create a larger innovation ecosystem to support the development of healthcare.”
